After Bay Shore jumped out to a 5-0, 1st inning lead it became the Liz Weber show. Weber who is a Newsday player to watch earned that distinction today by going 4 for 4 and an intentional walk. That was not all she did as she took a no-hitter into the 7th inning only to lose it when Connetquot's Emily Mazzaro drove a 1-1 pitch up the middle for a single. Weber threw 94 pitches, 63 of them for strikes as she struck out six Connetquot players. Taylor McGowan was 2 for 4, scored 2 runs and had 1 rbi to help lead Bay Shores attack.
