Summer Camps Hitting Lessons Fastpitch World is in the business of making players better and reaching the highest level each individual can reach. Our goal is to teach you specific details about the fundamentals you’re learning, which will enable you to coach yourself on the field. At Fastpitch World we believe that in order to become a better hitter you must have an in depth understanding of what you are learning. We will spend as much time on hitting mentality as we do with your swing because hitting is as much mental as it is physical. Catching Lessons Ask any coach and they will tell you that good catchers make pitchers look better. That is why Fastpitch World has former Hofstra standout catcher Carolann Lubach doing the teaching. In Carolann’s career she started 212 of 218 games for the Pride and in the 2008 season she set a school record with zero passed balls allowed.
